This blog will be run for multiple classes. Each posting should be labelled arst 1070, or arst 2000, to clarify for which group the post is required reading.
I'm putting the two together since there is a good amount of overlap and what is of a primary concern for one class, when I decide to share it, may still be of interest to some students in another class.
You will notice the blog is not purely a database of visual images. There will be some posts showing images I want you to look at critically, but many posts will exist within the realm of Cultural Studies. There will be many non-visual art posts to encourage you to think of your artistic practice and career in a larger sense instead of merely at an individual class level.
Posts labelled for your class are not optional. Take the time to review said posts between our scheduled classes. There are reasons I am sharing this information.
